Anyone have any recommendations for books about Renaissance Era Humanist philosophy or philosophers?

There's a helluva lot of good humanist philosophy in Shakespeare.

Honestly Thomas More is the only one I know anything about. I found his story fascinating. A man cannonized as a saint who contemporarily was considered by some as a heretic.

Thanks, I'll look him up.

@Marcus_Aurelius I honestly tried to google the book I read but I'm old, it was so long ago and the only picture I have in my head is of the cover and I'm sure that has been updated. Ninety percent sure it was a biography
