I agree, pretty much any presentation he makes is impressive.

I watch him literally shut off and THINK when asked a question, I have never seen anyone DO that before, not as if he is searching for the correct answer but rather as if he is fact-checking his own logic. Most people cannot wait to jump to an answer, perhaps not wanting to seem as if they think their answer will be considered weak if not stated immediately.

I've noticed that after a time of doing any sort of discussion over the years people do tend to develop their own sort of shorthand but I have not yet seen him give a facile answer.

It is interesting to see the different technique people like Peterson and Shapiro have in the discussion process.
