I don't think it is a problem in and of itself, it is a symptom of a larger problem. Progressives must attack those they disagree with, because they can't handle the fact of anyone disagreeing with them.

I am totally on board with you. Sadly I think this will be the norm in our country where the minority party will spend either four or eight years resisting the party of the president in power. I don’t know why anybody would want to run for president or any other elective office In the US. Sadly we no longer attract statesmen but powermongers and narcissists.
