Most people would benefit greatly from an experience with psilocybin, LSD, or MDMA. The advances made by Roland Griffiths are only the beginning. MAPS is doing amazing work as well, and it’s a shame these substances have been pushed so deeply underground for so long. Exploring consciousness, spirituality, and ones self is a fascinating undertaking.

I've had little choice but to self medicate after years of asking for help and drowning in pain and distraction techniques. We are just starting to scratch the surface of what these drugs can do to open the power of our minds.

Mind body connections are a huge benefit that often goes overlooked. I've found great physical changes in my nervous system, allowing me to be more aware of what causes my pain and how to controle parts of my body I didn't even know where broken.

Mushrooms in small doses are a much safer alternative to antidepressants and it works emdiatly and changes your outlook rather than numbing you into the pain. What is good for us is not what is profitable for them. What opens our minds closes us off to being sold a story.

I don't know how much malicious intent is behind these decisions made for us, but I do know the path people go down is driven by intent. And the intent of people controlling these things is clearly not the wellbeing of the masses.

My one experience with MDMA was life changing—equally good and bad. The overall takeaway was that I had never truly experienced the depth and range of emotions I was fully capable of, until then. I completely agree that in a safe, controlled environment, it could be used the way it was originally intended, for breakthrough therapy. It’s amazing the connections that can be made with the conscious and subconscious mind, once the barriers of fear and/or inhibitions are removed.

Don't think I need the assistance of recreational drugs in order to explore consciousness. I agree though that such drugs never should have been illegal.
