Why we need to stop calling Congress People "Leaders" or "Law Makers."
They are our "Elected Representatives" not our "Leaders." This perhaps is the illusion that is fostered that allows them to believe they have the right to "Decide" what it best for us rather than represent us or our interests. AOC is a great example with her "I'm the Boss" bullshit. Someone needs to educate these idiots in the harshest most memorable ways. They work FOR us. And their job should never be a path to riches or fame. Congress is talking about raising the minimum wage. For a group who works the least amount of time for the wages theyre paid they know all about that.
We need to stop calling Legislators in Congress "Law Makers" they are "Law Passers." There has not be one law created by them in over 4 decades. The real law makers are business lawyers run by corporations in groups like ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council for Republicans and SiX (State Innovation Exchange) for the Democrats. Congress people pay to belong to these "Bill Mills" and this is why you never see a bill that says "Written By"...only "Sponsored By" anymore. I think the last congressman who actually wrote a bill was Claude Pepper (D-FL).
This is part of the reason why I support the currently growing Article 5 Convention of States. I think its time WE put an amendment in that limits Congressional Terms, places Fiscal Restrictions on the Government and limits its powers back to only those enumerated and permitted under the Constitution.
In the Corporate Oligarchy that conquered America in 1867 , the leaders do not answer to corporate property . The definitions are changed . In application , "representation" really means "management" . Those who present themselves to be regulated , shall be regulated .
