Has anyone else tried the Atheos app for improving your debating via the use of epistemology? I've been using it the past few months, and I've noticed it's made me a better listener. I'm less prone to emotions during discussions and debates. Rather, I'm more interested in exploring the assumptions behind the stated claim. I think it has furthered my foray into debate that Plato's Republic began.
hour long alan watts set to chillstep seems to help me calm down and think a bit less emotionally...but i am very prone to emotion. i seem to have been programmed that way. certain subjects stir it. i just completed a three day certification series for working within a community for which i belong and some of the subjects presented were very difficult for me not to react. violent personal experiences tend to become flashfires....alan watts, ram das and others seem to help disconnect me from being so reactive.
it would be interesting to find greek philosophers snippets set to some soothing music, or even some of these fireflies that draw ups running into the night to scoop into our hand and admire.

I haven't tried Atheo but will download and see if it helps. I'm certain I'm more rational now after reading and listening to IDW members for a few months. But I still get upset and emotional easily when I hear SJWs chanting their insane cr**.
I think it helps move conversations forward because you can get others to challenge their own views, which is less threatening and prevents them from doubling down like so many recent psych studies have shown that we all do, lol
I had experimented with that app many months ago, and did not think it worth it to pay to upgrade. The app could have used some improvements.
I'm not sure how experienced you are in dialectics, but for a newbie like me, I've found it useful. Maybe they've updated it in the last few months? I don't know, but I found it worth the few bucks.
