I got maybe 40 to 60 skips across our pond once as a youth throwin skippers. It was like it just kinda plowed across the 100ish feet to the next bank after the first 10-15 skips or so. Never even close to have been repeated, though i have tried a bit. Before and after that amazement i was only getting between the high teens and the mid 20's. Who knows why.
Participated in a local extinction event when dad's friend brought a small caliber semiautomatic rifle for my brother and i to take turns shooting at turtles that popped up on the pond because he said it was bad for the fishing. 20 shots later, we never had a turtle again. My dad was not present. I would estimate that to be roughly the number of turtles we had. I was sad for years after. I loved watching them randomly pop their heads up and try to count how many would surface at a time.Age 8. I Only will hunt feral swine.
I seperated a facemask freshman year of highschool during tackling drills. Quit playing that year. Trained with the powerlifters. Graduated at 125 pounds.

My family had to spend a bit of evenings teaching me how the letters t and h were read and spoken together during primary. It was the only reading hurdle i remember.
Was accused of cheating every summer in the libraries bookreading competition. I really must have liked cheating because i would load my bookbag with all the books it would hold and go back every few days to return the ones i checked out and check out different ones. 10 books was not uncommon.Biographies, midevil architecture, mechanical devices, and nature subjects. I must have really liked cheating because i wore out a bookbag every summer. I was only writing down the ones i read that i checked out, but it must be suspicious for a second grader to be reporting 60 books by midsummer.
Swiss family robinson was a favorite book when i read it in 4th grade, not only because of the subject but because it only took me a workweek of evenings to read it. The next year i read a whole shelf of biographies of american presidents and frontiersmen from the library and they were not sissy anorexic volumes.
Classmates wondered and grumble at me theoughout schooling for reading a book book the first night and not open it again unless mandated.
I asked alot of questions, answered alot of questions, and passed some tests. It was quite disruptive. Those statements hold true today.
In junior high i decided that i would not judge whether a book was worth reading or not until i finished the first 100 pages,
Stopped actively reading at the age of 28 when the spirit came upon me and told me to close the book and do something productive. At that point i had been reading 1000 pages a week for at least 10 years. Possibly 20.
College: truth-associates of applied science in welding technology and it only took me 6 years. BUT i jokingly like tell people "associates of applied science in welding technology with a double in fine arts(specialization life studies) and art metals(specialization in Functional forging). I do not think that they grant those type if grandiose degree elaborations and i do not care make the effort find out or be awarded.
