The Eastern Orthodox Church, the last Biblical remnant of the original organize Christian Church, has declared that the doctrine of "Oneness" is heresy just as the doctrine of Arius in the 3rd Century AD. These quaint twistings of the Word are just the devil's attack on the divinity of Jesus Christ. The bible tells us that God made humanity to be a reflection of the Godhead. Humans are persons with three aspects, physical, mental and spiritual. When observing infinite divinity, is it too far to stretch your mind to grasp that the three aspects of an infinite God are also Persons in and of themselves? The doctrine of the Eastern Orthodox states that the three persons are distinct but inseparable. That is, you can tell one from the others, but you cannot have one without the rest.
