Do you think Biden will really beat Trump if he runs? I know polls suggest that Biden would win, but polls also said Hillary would win. (I also recognize we are still pretty far from 2020.)
I recently read an article (link below) written by a democratic politician that attacked "Creepy Uncle Joe" for kissing her while he was campaigning for her. Is this type of behavior going to be a deal breaker for Democrat voters? Does it make Democrats look bad if they do vote for him?
I recognize Trump has had similar allegations thrown his way. But, for better or worse, Republicans don't seem to care all that much; they still voted for him. Democrats seem to care a whole lot more.
Registered Democrats who turn out, will vote for the Democrat, and registered Republicans who turn out, will vote for the Republican. Doesnt matter who the candidates are. I think the last two election cycles, Republicans learned a valuable lesson - staying home on election day as a protest is counter-productive. Not sure what would happen if Democrats didnt do such aggressive turnout efforts. Probably see fallling turnout without the buses.
So, the winner will be based on two circumstances - party turnout, and Independents. Since voter registration in fairly even, except in some obvious locations, the best run campaign will be ones where the candidate gets turnout and convinces enough independents - especially in the critical swing states - PA, FL, WI etc.
The Deep State would try to get you to vote for" Coco the monkey " from a serial box if they thought that it would beat Trump come election time. The fact is that the swamp is getting pretty low now - and they are getting pretty desperate. I mean look how they used the Russian Collusion story to drag it on and on and ON....and all for nothing! those doing the wrong thing in high places are getting their just deserts.
