really don't care in the least anything Niki Manaj thinks or says...period. She is a high profile avatar of the crass perversion that defines modern popular culture. She is a caricature unto herself.
So she accidentally stumbles into a thought that really is not telling of high intelligence or insight but rather should be relatively obvious and logical observation of the subject matter.

Given the response here about her remarks on the matter I am prone to believe that if she were to say "hey - its raining" whilst standing in the rain some folks would turn and say - gee, that Niki Manaj woman is a deep thinker...LOL!

I can agree that she has been pushing trashy music and lifestyle, but I think the point is that she stood up to the narrative a little and encouraged people to do their own research and make up their own minds, rather than just do it because they're being told to or because others are doing it. It may be common sense (if that still exists) but people are shocked and surprised because they don't expect that from someone in the commercial music industry (rather, they'd expect the opposite). She probably could've made more money off jumping on the covid jab bandwagon, instead she's made things a bit harder for herself by doing what she did.
Who knows, maybe it's just a bit of a publicity stunt and she'll fold and start preaching the jab like many in her industry do.

NICKI MINAJ IS FAST BECOMING A FREE SPEECH AND FREEDOM WARRIOR

Married to a sex offender who twice tried to rape 16 year olds
I'm sure conservatives will overlook that as long as she throws shade on Biden, don't you think?

Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in California

Don't all you commies love sex offenders?
Judging by the dems, and all your antifa buddies it would seem so.

@Tom81
You'd have to ask a commie or a democrat or an antifa member; I'm none of those.

But based on current history, sex offenses are the providence of the GOP, not the dems.

Republican Tim Nolan, chairman of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in Kentucky, pled guilty to child sex trafficking and on February 11, 2018 he was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison.

Republican Tim Nolan, chairman of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in Kentucky, pled guilty to child sex trafficking and on February 11, 2018 he was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison.

Republican state Senator Ralph Shortey was indicted on four counts of human trafficking and child pornography. In November 2017, he pleaded guilty to one count of child sex trafficking in exchange for the dropping of the other charges.

Republican anti-abortion activist Howard Scott Heldreth is a convicted child rapist in Florida.

Republican County Commissioner David Swartz pleaded guilty to molesting two girls under the age of 11 and was sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Republican judge Mark Pazuhanich pleaded no contest to fondling a 10-year old girl and was sentenced to 10 years probation.

Republican anti-abortion activist Nicholas Morency pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography on his computer and offering a bounty to anybody who murders an abortion doctor.

Republican legislator Edison Misla Aldarondo was sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping his daughter between the ages of 9 and 17.

Republican Mayor Philip Giordano is serving a 37-year sentence in federal prison for sexually abusing 8- and 10-year old girls.

Republican campaign consultant Tom Shortridge was sentenced to three years probation for taking nude photographs of a 15-year old girl.

Republican Senator Strom Thurmond, a notable racist, had sex with a 15-year old black girl which produced a child.

Republican pastor Mike Hintz, whom George W. Bush commended during the 2004 presidential campaign, surrendered to police after admitting to a sexual affair with a female juvenile.

Republican legislator Peter Dibble pleaded no contest to having an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

Republican Congressman Donald “Buz” Lukens was found guilty of having sex with a female minor and sentenced to one month in jail.

Republican fundraiser Richard A. Delgaudio was found guilty of child porn charges and paying two teenage girls to pose for sexual photos.

Republican activist Mark A. Grethen convicted on six counts of sex crimes involving children.
Republican activist Randal David Ankeney pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault on a child.

Republican Congressman Dan Crane had sex with a female minor working as a congressional page.

Republican activist and Christian Coalition leader Beverly Russell admitted to an incestuous relationship with his step daughter.

Republican congressman and anti-gay activist Robert Bauman was charged with having sex with a 16-year-old boy he picked up at a gay bar.

Republican Committee Chairman Jeffrey Patti was arrested for distributing a video clip of a 5-year-old girl being raped.

Not to mention:

Matt Gaetz
In April 2021, federal investigators began looking into Rep. Matt Gaetz and whether he was provided travel and women in exchange for political favors.

Pat Meehan
On April 27, 2018, Republican Congressmen Pat Meehan resigned due to months worth of misconduct allegations. In January, the New York Times reported he had used tax payer money to pay off a former aide who had accused him of sexual harassment.

Roy Moore
During Roy Moore's election campaign for the Senate, nine women accused him of sexual misconduct. Three of them alleged he sexually assaulted them when they were aged 14 to 28. Although Moore denied the allegations, he did not deny dating teenagers over the age of 16.

Jeff Hoover
On November 6, 2017, Jeff Hoover resigned as the Speaker of the Kentucky House of Representatives after multiple sexual harassment allegations were made against him.

Jeff Kruse
In October 2017, Oregon state Senator Jeff Kruse was removed from all committee assignments after sexual harassment allegations made by fellow Senators Sara Gelser and Elizabeth Steiner Hayward.

Wes Goodman
Ohio state Rep. Wes Goodman resigned from his position on November 14, 2017, after a non-staffer witnessed him and another adult male having consensual sexual relations inside Goodman's office. Following his resignation, more allegations of sexual misconduct were made against Goodman, including sexual assaulting an 18-year-old man in 2015.

@TheMiddleWay nope, sex offenders on both sides but overwhelming on the left - your side just ignores it when they do it (just like you've only listed republicans above but failed to address the many dems that do). Good try though. For someone who doesn't vote for them, you put a lot of effort into defending them and smearing their opposition.

Btw, what has Nicki Minaj's husband got to do with the original post? Couldn't find a response to what she said so you went in for a lame attempt at character assassination?

@Tom81

just like you've only listed republicans above but failed to address the many dems that do

Because democrats, with 4 items, barely can be considered "a list".

Democratic California Congressman, Tony Cárdenas, is being sued in LA County for allegedly sexually abused a 16-year-old girl.

Democratic aide to Senator Barbara Boxer, Jeff Rosato, plead guilty to charges of trading in child pornography.

Democratic Alaskan State Representative, Dean Westlake, resigned from his seat after the media published a report alleging he fathered a child with a 16-year-old girl when he was 28.

Democratic New Jersey State Assemblyman, Neil Cohen, was convicted of possession and distribution of child pornography.

@Tom81

Btw, what has Nicki Minaj's husband got to do with the original post?

Simple. Up until she expressed views that align with the right, she was a parish to the right. Just look at what FOX, OANN, and other right wing outlets were saying about here a year ago. 😀

Now she is promoting her own brand of far-right anti-vaxx misinformation (not a single instance of swollen testicles associated with this, or any other, vaccine) and suddenly she is branded the rights new freedom fighter?

Uh - huh

Hypocrisy of the far-right in embracing a person who supports sex offenders merely because she comes up with a new angle of misinformation... is what it has to do with the OP.

@TheMiddleWay wow, there was a ton of dems that missed your role call. Maybe you sympathise with them and their views too much to admit there's a problem there - including all the links to Epstein and pedophillia. But that's beside the point of the original post.
And calling a Trinidadian POC rapper a far-right anti-vaxxer because she doesn't believe the covid jab (has she ever spoken out against any other vaccine?) should be mandatory, just shows how much of a hard on you have for extreme left authoritarianism.
Nice work, comrade. Love those mental gymnastics!

@Tom81
My view has nothing to do with her stance that experimental vaccines shouldn't be mandatory, a stance I share with her... what a shitty extreme left authoritative individual I make!

She is promoting misinformation about swollen testicles as a means to dismiss the vaccine and the far-right anti-vaxx movement is all in for that. I find that amusing is all.

@TheMiddleWay promoting misinformation? Unlike you?
Your whole post is full of lies and half truths. Maybe you just read a headline rather than all the tweets and exchanges and are simply misinformed yourself, but decided to take the opportunity to play partisan politics.
As for the far-right and anti-vaxx movement 😂🤣😂 you're just pulling things out your ass.
Anti-covid jab/ covid jab sceptical is not the same as being against ALL vaccines (like the anti-vaxx movement is).
And traditionally the anti-vaxx movement is the domain of leftists not far-right (more full of hippies than skinheads).
Also - yes, you are pro-authoritarian if you are threatened by, and against free speech of everyone you disagree with. Labelling everyone 'far-right' that disagrees with your own stance, is no different than the communists of old that labelled everything 'fascist', if it didn't align with their own ideology.

@Tom81
Notice how this conversation pivoted from Niki Minaj and the issues I have with her comments...
... to you making comments about ME?

I'm 100% interested in discussing you opinion of my views surrounding covid, misinformation, far right, vaxx, minaj etc with you.

I've ZERO interest in discussing your opinion of me. 😉

Choose: do you want to talk about ME or do you want to talk about the TOPIC?
One choice continues the discussion between us.
The other choice squelches it.

@TheMiddleWay hypocrisy much?😂 You began your post by pivoting to Nicki Minaj's partners criminal history and linking that to conservatives and Biden, rather than directly commenting on what she had been tweeting
As for discussing opinions - leftists aren't capable. Firstly, the left's redefinition of words and meanings results in us speaking a different language. Secondly, leftists have all the traits and use the same tactics that narcissists do when it comes to arguing. They have black and white thinking, lack of self awareness, double standards, can't admit any fault, will deflect in circles, gaslight and attempt to manipulate... and in the end all you get from them is word salad.
You're not interested in debate, otherwise you would have stuck to the topic, which was Nicki Minaj commenting on how the left are trying to dictate who you can talk to and what you can talk about. Instead you chose to try and character assasinate to invalidate the points she made.

@Tom81
Did I ever talk about you or Lindastill in my comments?
No.
Hence can't be hypocritical for me to point out that you'd rather talk about me then talk about what I'm talking about. 😉

@Tom81

You're not interested in debate, otherwise you would have stuck to the topic, which was Nicki Minaj commenting on how the left are trying to dictate who you can talk to and what you can talk about. Instead you chose to try and character assasinate to invalidate the points she made.

You are correct: I'm not interested in discussion YOUR CHOSEN topic of debate here on MY SUBTHREAD

Here, I'm solely interested in talking about the hypocrisy of the far-right embracing a person like Nicki Minaj after years of tearing her down for her lifestyle and views. Suddenly she says one thing that is embraced by the far right and she is now their freedom fighter. It is that hypocrisy that I'm bringing to the foreground and that hypocrisy which I'm willing to talk about.

If you want to talk about your topic, feel free to start your own subthread and other people can join it. Otherwise, you're trolling my response by talking about me instead of talking about the angle I wish discuss when it comes to Nicki Minaj and the far right response to her viewpoints...you are literally attempting (and failing btw) to silence my view by employing the same tactics you accuse the left of using in your previous response. Now that's hypocrisy!! 😉

@TheMiddleWay getting a bit triggered there, are ya? Your thread is full of fail.
The far-right aren't embracing Nicki Minaj. Infact this has nothing to do with the far-right. That's either a false assumption or a lie. I'm pretty sure the far-right hate Nicki Minaj as much as the far-left.
As for conservatives, centrists and libertarians who are embracing her now: it's really not that hard to understand when you don't have black and white thinking. But let me explain it to you, since you seem to.
You can disagree with a person on certain views, but agree with them on other views. You can even agree with a person who you don't like. Get it? That's not hypocrisy. So people can hate her music but agree with her sentiments on freedom of speech simultaneously - that's not hypocrisy.
As for you getting your panties in a knot and claiming I'm trying to silence you 😂🤣😂 How? How am I trying to silence you? Did I whine and cry to a moderator and try and get you banned (like you have done to other members on this site)?
BYW, you might want to look up the definition of hypocrisy, before you accuse anyone else of trolling your posts/threads.😉

@Tom81

I'm pretty sure the far-right hate Nicki Minaj as much as the far-left.

The way OANN, Tucker et. al. have covered her recent uninformed, undocumented commentaries re: swollen testicles, downright praising her for said comments, you wouldn't know the hate is there. 😉

@TheMiddleWay they're not far-right. Unless your definition of far-right is anything that isn't on the left.

@TheMiddleWay btw, post a Nicki Minaj song that has far-right lyrics or supports the far-right...
🤣 Bitch please, if I don't get word salad or retarded mental gymnastics from you, I bet I'll get ignored.
Fuck all you hacks and your cluster b personality. Stick to tik tok where belong 😉

@Tom81

btw, post a Nicki Minaj song that has far-right lyrics or supports the far-right...

Exactly. No Minaj song or statement supports the far-right.
Yet she says some bat-shit crazy anti-vaxx thing on twitter and suddenly the far-right (OANN, TET, TGP, FOX, etc) is right there to supporting her
That is my original "gripe" if you want to call it that.

And OANN and Tucker are most assuredly far-right: anyone that promotes Trump's Big Lie is automatically on the far-right.... to me.

@TheMiddleWay and there you have it. Anything you disagree with is far-right. Even if it isn't. Content and context doesn't matter to you, but picking a side does. Which makes you far-left and proves you're not interested in debate.

@Tom81
Me me me
All you talk about is me.
Fun.
Keep going.
