So a literal symbol of female subjugation to men for thousands of years is now a symbol of feminism? What kind of mind fuck has been played on modern feminists? Is it like Milo said? Subconsciously all third wave feminists secretly need a powerful man therefore they defend the toxic masculinity rampant in Islam? Hmmmmmm...

It occurred to me that whereas individual women may subconsciously subject men to hysteria for evolutionary reasons (If you can't handle me and take charge how can you protect our offspring?); could the feminist movement be that same concept scaled up to the societal level instead of the individual?

@RafaelMspt Interestingly, it seems to me, looking at humans as a big pool of data, that the current feminist narrative of subduing various male tendencies; particularly the various occasions we look at or approach them for example, will deter a significant number of advances from less toxic, more thoughtful men, who more often than not have done little wrong anyway. The group disproportionately more likely to ignore these concerns and still pursue as many women and with as much gusto as they have previously regardless of any narrative, are the most toxic, possibly narcissistic and/or sociopathic men. So it wouldn't surprise me if, a couple of generations down the line, there could be perhaps 5%, perhaps 20% more toxic men!

I think women would be better served not railing against all men, but analysing their own choices in what they put up with and who they choose to procreate with (with the obvious exceptions of when a man literally is violently controlling which is definitely all the man's responsibility). Evolution has presented us with the range of psychological characteristics present throughout humanity today. These personalities, tendencies, desires, shortcomings etc, will never disappear just because people click their fingers and demand it. If such characters are not rewarded with sex - yet still currently the most domineering, powerful and on many occasions malevolent men still definitely are - then a generation or two later the trends will go in the direction desired by women. But it won't happen overnight

The people promoting the hijab as a symbol of “freedom” are simply ignoring the abuse, assault, and incarceration of powerless Muslim women in the real world. Like this story from late March:

What Milo said on this, does give some food for thought on the subject. JBP, says Milo is a Trickster Archetype, this throws somewhat of a 'bent' on the opinion, LoL!

I believe it to be a Freudian slip on their part, the sexual fantasy we are no longer to state in public. Ah, how politically incorrect, how toxic the masculinity, how evil the patriarchy. If the feminist will not go to the mountain then surely the mountain will come to the feminist. Has anyone seen my guitar? I feel a Kum-by-ya moment coming on.
