If you ask the nature of question then are you asking a question or asking a question about the question?

What would help is an actual question about what you don't understand about the question, like I don't understand how these things work etc.

If you know anything about IDW then you know about Sam Harris. Sam Harris talks about meditation a lot. Now meditation is about observing the nature and movements of thoughts. But sometimes the nature is explosive itself to the degree that oberving them is harder. You can break the negative state created by those states by disrupting them with affirmations. Affirmations are helpful for a momentam that is towards the positive spectrum of ideas. I have used them and I have seen them work.

If you surf the interweb enough I believe you will find a few like minded people who think norse mythology is BS, does that make it BS?

Oh wait ... I misread the question and got “Affirmation Mediators” what you were asking about “Affirmation Meditators” which strikes me as being maybe even worse.
Sorry ... I really don’t mean to mess up the mantra or tantric state. I got into “meditation” for a little while long ago. Personally I didn’t think much of it but everybody has something that floats their boat.

@Bay0Wulf I think you get the point that the difference between old english literature and norse is not much here. I meant somebody might think Geat (not geet) writeups are crap and your approach to the idea is the same as theirs.

You did meditation wrong so it must be the fault of meditation. How old where you when you started applying such impeccable reasoning skills? I am amazed by your talent. Keep up the good work. We need more comedians.

Geat I knew and didn’t notice ... or maybe this damn thing changed the spelling?

I guess some people derive a benefit from meditation ... good for them ... I still don’t see where “affirmation” goes with it.
Isn’t that like people telling you you’re really good at ... yoga?
I think if people need “affirmation” on stuff they’re doing, they already have a problem.
Personally I found meditation and various offshoots of it extremely boring ...

As I said, I thought it said “Mediation Affirmation” which was a case of “say what!?” On the other hand “Meditation Affirmation” strikes me as being as bizarre a concept as the other.

So, to answer your original questions.
#1. I guess if they can get people to affirm their affirmation they must “have” something ... I hope it’s profitable.
#2. I’m of the impression “affirmation” is being provided by a 2nd party(?) ... when did meditation become a “shared” experience? So, basing my answer on the idea meditation is supposed to be a solitary pursuit ... No.

No. Affirmation can be provided by the first party to first party. It shapes the built in course correcting mechanism. I feel bad now because I was bashing your ideas under the impression that you have some ideas about affirmation. I don't have that impression now.

@Bay0Wulf I strongly recommend you watch some meditation videos of Sam Harris. You might find some relevance. You are a delightful person and it was nice having a chat with you, or as we say in plain language btfo.
