What do you think the earthly positive and negative ramifications would be if no human had a child for 10 years. Could the planet survive? Would that take too much away from society? Economically? Environmentally?
Was actually a movie about other dangers of banning children. What happened was that pediatric dentists, doctors etc disappeared. Day care centers/schools/kid’s tv/petting zoos/Children’s festivals/Easter Egg hunts/Santa..all gone. And then when children started being born again, there was no one with the expertise to keep them alive/vaccines for children were no longer made/nobody can remember how to help a woman give birth safely because obstetricians were gone/Everything from child safety seats to parents that knew how to properly care for a child… All gone. No maternity leave. No health insurance for babies. So..They couldn’t keep most of the babies alive. So I guess Earth might be great, but humanity faced catastrophe...And only the rich could afford all the specialized baby vaccines & docs to keep the kids alive. And I’m sure you understand that once you give the government control of who is allowed to have children… Well, nobody is going to get permission to have children unless they’re real special or rich for the great political party.
I don't think that the Earth would notice the difference. The earth survived a very long time with a lot less people. Most societies wouldn't change much either.
