“Politicians Don’t Actually Care What Voters Want” but are instead controlled not by the electorate, who are malleable by whatever the super-rich want them to believe, but by the super-rich, who basically hire the winning politicians.

We are not living under a republic or a democracy or socialism or oligarchy. We are living under the rule of the 0.1% of earth's population which is 70,000,000 people. They can go just about any where they want any time they want and any way they want without having to bother with borders or governments. With all the surveillance technology tied into our daily lives, we are guided and intimidated to do what they want us to do. These behaviors are in compliance with human genetic rules which means we are incapable of successfully managing our society.

I noticed this on my own. We need to bust Soros and Schwab.

Pollies deserve some credit,such an ego,most are definitely very clever people but that doesn't take them out of the ugly basket.Why most of us are born humble and dumb the world will never know!

Watch a baby closely. No one is born humble. LOL.

I’m extremely worried by the growing trend among members of the right to demonize billionaires and obsess over wealth and success. It’s absolutely astonishing that leftists have gained such a powerful grip on the culture that the conservative right is sounding increasingly Marxist.

The Bible is correct when it says the love of money is the root of evil. Half of the world's net wealth belongs to the top 1%, top 10% of adults hold 85%, while the bottom 90% hold the remaining 15% of the world's total wealth, top 30% of adults hold 97% of the total wealth. This wealth is not used to promote advancement in jobs and better human life on the planet but to gain more wealth. There is nothing the matter with being rich perse but being rich strictly for power and counting your gold is evil.

@lawrenceblair the Bible also says:
“For to every one who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” — Matthew 25:29
“I tell you, that to every one who has will more be given; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” — Luke 19:26,

However, that’s beside the point.

My fear is how conservatives are falling under the spell of Marxist propaganda and swelling the ranks of the wealth haters.

Real conservatives need to start thinking through how someone like Elon Musk is benefiting working class Americans, and saving taxpayers money. In the past, it was usually only the Marxists who failed to appreciate reality.

Hating wealth is the philosophy of AOC, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker and all the other anti-American leftists who lust after your money, your guns and your freedom. Conservatives must reject this or all is surely lost.

@lawrenceblair and who's to say what that ratio should be? Resources should be allocated by the most creative and intellectually qualified people. They too are also mostly in the 1%. Now when they use that power to game the meritocracy, we have a problem. But I believe the ones that do are the fat in the 1% needing of trimmed. The ideal state might be even more lopsided when it comes to control of wealth. But it'd be a he'll of a lot better world for all.

@JordanMiller totally agree that abuses exist, and I think should be dealt with using existing laws including monopolies, anti-competition, or insider trading. There’s too much money in politics, tax reform is desperately needed and government is too big. These are things real conservatives can get behind.

The message of the OP, simply hating on wealth creators, solves nothing and benefits only destructive socialists.

@JordanMiller I would add one more qualifier to your meritocracy. Morality, meaning this; Matthew 22:37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ These verses round out the 10 commandments without which there is no moral compass.
