I saw that somewhere else today. It's sick what these communists are willing to do in the name of "equity and inclusion." Boiled down to its essence, they hate God and anyone who serves Him.

When a person joins the military they take an oath to defend their country, not just a select few who agree with the personal beliefs of the soldier. Religion is a personal belief and should be held beneath duty to country. Would you accept religious dog tags if they were Muslim, Buddhist, Jewish, Wiccan, Satanic? The next test will be, are you the right kind of Christian? Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Christian Science, Mormon, High Church Episcopalians and Lutherans can be considered to be not true Christians.

What brining religion into government is doing is tearing apart any idea of a unified country. It is destroying the foundation that created it.

Your response is as ridiculous as your question. You are obviously not Christian, not a religious man of any sort, probably an atheist who god is himself. The religion of a man wearing the dog tag should make no difference to any man.

@lawrenceblair You need to understand what motivates people and how they form groups aligned with goals. You know that what you have in mind for religious dog tags are Christian only. The fact that you are Christian is simply a matter of where and when you were born, If you had happen to have been born in Iran you would be a Muslim and believe that it was the true religion. If you do not understand that you will never see how the world and the people in it interact.

@Pand0ro I understand the human condition perfectly. The only reason the Pentagon decided to stop servicemen from continuing the practice of wearing Christian dog tags is that some cretin who has chosen to fight against God bitched to the right cretin in the Pentagon . . . no other reason. Yes, I understand. Some hate God and love themselves and hate anyone that does not think as they do. Yes, I understand very well.

@lawrenceblair If God exists there is no reason to hate Him. I do not know if God exists but this all came from somewhere beyond our ability to imagine and there seems to be a purpose to this universe. I am not tied to any religion but was raised Roman Catholic. I do not recall Jesus ever asking people to follow him but if they refuse He will kill them and send them to hell.

@Pand0ro As a student of the Bible I can say without fear of contradiction (by a knowledgable Christian) that, "He will kill them and send them to hell." That is typical twisting, tangling, and warping the word of God to prove that one is justified in turning the back on a loving, just, and holy God.

The Synagogue of Satan controls the Pentagon. Dark Angels every one of them!
