Do you think those sex dolls that look underaged should be banned/discouraged?
Could that be considered a way to fulfill the need of pedophile or do you think that would only feed a dangerous appetite?
I'm not in any way asking because I'm sitting pedophilia or sex dolls or anything like that. I'm asking because I want to consider what would best help those who are dealing with pedophilia and how we as a society can protect everyone in society (to an extent, pedophiles too...but only to an extent)

People buying such toys for them, surveillance is needed. Psychology people should figure out if they can identify and prevent crimes.

What sort of evidence is there that this is feeding or would feed a dangerous appetite?
Who gets to judge what is acceptably young looking? How concretely can that even be defined? Or is it going to the pornography definition, i.e. you know it when you see it?
I've seen 14-year-olds who can make themselves look adult and adults who looked positively adolescent -- real life, not dolls.
Maybe we should limit the length, girth and realism of dildos because some female teachers have sex with their under-aged students.

My only concern would be the term "looks Underage" ... to whom, Would an Asian Build qualify? different cultures, look different, Maybe small is for travel purposes, rather than child ...

I appreciate your thoughts and I'm not siding with anyone with the question either so no worries about thinking out loud. I was referring to childlike dolls specifically. I read an article recently that certain states are banning sales of these for fear of endorsing pedophilia, which prompted me to ask this question

Inciting violence, or inciting like acts …. Its a fine line, but "Like" is a scary
I have to be honest i and my family have been hurt by PEDOPHILIA in horrible way's and helping them is the least of my concern. Because if you look around you will see pedophile symbols in everything from baby/ children clothes to children movies and cartoons plates rugs playrooms at daycare. And more. So as with any addiction or any problem in life they need to admit and seek help themselves.
It is absolutely wrong to sell these products Amazon is selling toy children dolls with rope and blind fold ect. This is DESITIZING our children to pedophilia "all inclusive love" this is done in many way's at schools and more and needs to end!

As gently as I can think of to say it-- if someone really wants to hurt someone, they will find a way.
