Two things. "Correct pronoun" = take a knee, you horror of a person.
2nd, people who focus on minutia (this is not the same as "Devil is in the detail" ) and/or make up the same lack the brain power to do otherwise.

JPeterson had an interesting video about IQ vs success in the world. He noted that the US military did an extensive study about the IQ of recruits. Essentially, they did not want to waste monies and risk fellow soldiers' lives by putting those in the firing line that would not have the smarts to deal with it.
They found that anyone with an IQ less than 82 would not cope. ~10% of the potential recruits are below that level. So, 10% cannot function at the level required to serve anywhere in the military. Uh, what then is society to do with them?
Although well spoken, I have my suspicions about this broad.
