It's all to easy for people to sit and complain and play victim, with out ever getting off they're backsides to do anything to change whatever it is they complain about, especially they're own lives.
I've put some years into the political arena, wanting to improve my town/city/state/country, always trying to represent the people who elected me to those offices, always amazed at how few will come out to backup or stand for what they say they want??? Is it any wonder that politicians listen to the special interests and lobbyist who are at they're door every minute. ???

I hear you. It doesn't even have to be a huge, remarkable thing - like people getting together to pick up litter on their streets, that sort of things make a good start. While we insist so much on individual liberty and choice nowadays, maybe we've forgotten the importance of togetherness, sharing, that kind of things...
