The big difference is, with this new colonialism, Africans will wake up to China owning them, and they won't forgive, bow out and be nice like the Europeans did. They'll be like 18th and 19th century European Empires did - and beat the natives back into submission. Already happening in a couple of places where the government didn't make the payments to China...
