Admin - I do take seriously your post and your concerns about maintaining a standard of decorum here on IDW. However, this thread brought forth a memory about the following SNL bit. I hope you and everyone else sees the humor here. I found it on you tube and it still gives me belly laughs. Point / Counterpoint with Dan Ackroyd and Jane Curtain. Enjoy?! I did.
"if you're on your backs the meter is running"
Gawt damn ... Yeah this kind of thing would never survive in the world today, and maybe that is because before it was okay to insult woman and today it isn't but, that being said they worked together shook hands and they moved on.
Because this was a bit, a joke, and therefore not a real reality of how they feel.
Sad we cannot have these kind of segments on modern television. Miss you old SNL
it has NEVER been ok to insult a woman - or anyone else for that matter. The thing that has changed however is that people who see themselves as weak look to gov't to shield them from the harsh realities of life.
So sad we will never have comedy this good again.... ❤️❤️❤️
