Smedley Darlington Butler to keep things in line with the Constitution, just like he did in 1934 when the fascist bankers and Nazi industrialist tried to form a military coup against FDR. Butler was no fan of Roosevelt, but he had sworn and oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Roosevelt was the duly elected President of the United States, and Butler upheld his oath.
