Let's talk "Electoral college".
Joe Biden said "the greatest right you have is to vote".  I thought our greatest right is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (or the pursuit of property). The nullification of the bill of rights is imminent with the removal of the electoral college. The bill of rights protects the individual from the majority.  Say I have a bicycle, and the majority wants my bicycle. Without the bill of rights, the majority wins, and they now have my bicycle. The left majority in this country is in New York, Los Angeles and Houston and surrounding areas, and people are stacked on top of each other like cord wood.  If you're a farmer or rancher, in the fly over states, you will be at the mercy of those who know nothing about your way of life without the electoral college.  We have Senators now who represent their constituents from each state.  They know the ins and outs of their constituents and the markets that effect their way of life. The majority in these cities knows nothing about this way of Life and the cement in my thinking is what they call these areas, (fly over states) they brush their hand away from themselves saying "unimportant" while talking about these states. If the majority wants your land for a larger footprint for their cities then remember the bicycle.  The majority wins!
 Without the electoral college, their will be no need for the Senate. We would have a parliament like Britain or England. Our constitution, our bill of rights, and our basic rule of governance, as we know it, will be destroyed.  Our President would be just like the Queen of England, ornamental.  The parliament majority would make laws that can not be vetoed for the majority has already ruled. The majority wins! If you're a lawful gun owner that hunts, target sports or just self protects, you may loose those rights if the majority wins. Remember the bicycle.  No checks and balances to see if things will work or if it's even constitutional. The majority wins!

  Why are people waving our constitution while trying to destroy it.
 One of the progressive justices on the supreme court said that "the constitution is the supreme law of the land, but it is what the justices say it is". They liked that because it was an elite progressive move in the courts that redefine the constitution and that then becomes the constitution in their minds. They believe that the constitutional constraints on government serve to limit the "good" that they believe could be done with government. There for,  they have to get rid of those constraints, the constitution structure, the notion of enumerated powers (the federal government can use only powers that are delegated to it). All these constraints are standing in the way of the liberals.  They believe that they are the best and the brightest that political science has, and that they can solve all problems and create a utopia for all of us, if they could only get these restraints on government out of their way. There has been a century long movement to remove the impediments that the constitution imposes on government, which is the actual glue that holds our nation in tact, and the foundation on which this country stands.  If we remove the electoral college, many other rights will fall as a result, our foundation will crumble, and the American dream will disappear.  If we let the majority win, America loses.
