"Social-Democracy"? Oh, you mean liberal fascism...
"Many socialists argue that the success of the Nordic model proves that 'social-democracy' and regulated forms of collectivism work, to the benefit of both the individual and public at large."

Martin Hem Hoven writes, "No it doesn't work here either. We have obligations that far exceed our enormous oil fund (4 trillion nok, about 0,6 trillion dollar / 5m population).
We have 280 000 in universal health care queues (6 % of the population)
49 % of people aged 16-74 are working in the private sector, rest are on welfare or in government jobs. During the last 8 years investments in land industry have more than halved.
We have decilining police cover, declining real salaries and declining welfare programs.
Norway would be Greece on steroids if we didn't have 30 % of the government's income coming from petroleum."
Steffen Larsen says "They are - but the power of the scandinavian model is in the fact that the politicians have not regulated the market. Now althou in Denmark they are regulating and regulating - it is a horror to watch.
The wealth of Scandinavia was built up in the 50's and 60's and is now slowly being destroyed by the increase of socialism.
The Scandinavian welfare state didnt start clawing at the wealth of the land till 1970+ and only slowly started to increase in size. Today it is choking the land - we created great wealth in the past and are now bleeding jobs and money to the rest of the world like never before.
The "Nordic Model" is broken."
Socialism seems to be against nature. How could it ever work?
It never has worked..socialism is the destruction of the country and the beginning of a communistic dictatorship. That's what the democrats are seeking for this country...they see it as the final step toward globalism, One World Government and trust me it won't be thru elections.
