I'll first state that I would like to see transcripts of the June call to Xi. There are some quotes in this article which, if true, would be very alarming. But as I see them at this time, there's no context. For example, the comment about 'if China doesn't do what we want we would have tremendous power' has no context.

There's also mention of not only seeking Gert on Biden, but also Elizabeth Warren. If this is true, and I'm not saying that it is at this point, that would show a pattern of him seeking investigations on his political Rivals, and that would be an abuse of his power for personal gain.

Again, I would like to see the actual transcript so I can see the context things are in because I don't take the mainstream media at face value.

I also think it's also very disconcerting that high-level officials are running their mouth to the media or others who do not have a need to know. But for the time being, we just need to get facts.
