I do have to agree with this article, all these labels get to be too much after awhile. Whatever happened to the days when people just referred to themselves as... just human beings?

Stop obsessing over generational differences-

I’ve noticed that these labels are frequently nothing but a method of discriminating or putting others down. My children are millennials? I guess (born 80s through 1990), but I don’t see them fitting the stereotypes of a millennial. I see them as younger peers of mine and my wife and siblings. They are admirable people that offer and seek advise. They work hard to achieve their goals and they contribute to society. Granted, I have always held them to very high standards and they have always been “above average”, but they are far from the only ones. My daughters married sharp young men that have admirable characteristics as well. I have learned from them and believe they have learned from me.

They are people, not a generational identifier. This is the same as the race separations. We are people, not colors.

Well stated, I agree.
