WuFlu (Corona virus) updates:
Currently there are almost 45,000 cases of WuFlu
Yesterday we saw about 2,500 new cases of the WuFlu
At it's peek, we saw about 4,000 in one day
2 weeks ago, about 6,000 cases had been reported
Yesterday, just under 6,000 cases had been resolved
(of those cases 1,114 died and 4,690 recovered)
Fact: it is still too early to make any definitive predictions about the virus.
Fact: the vast majority of the cases have occurred in China and are being quarantined.
Fact: Most countries outside of China have enacted protocols to contain the virus.
Fact: Outside of mainland China, 476 people are known to have been infected; only 2 cases have ended in death (1 in the Philippines and 1 in Hong Kong), while 54 have recovered.
Fact: Panic adds little value
Fact: Taking unnecessary risks adds little value
Within the next 10 days to 2 weeks, we should have a better handle on the patterns and may even be able to make some predictions.

Spoke to some friends in China and yeah it's far worse than what the schills at CBC et al are telling us. because its reeeeecist you know. even with the Chinese governments crack down on information coming out of china some are able to do so for the moment, unless they "disappear" like some have. Yes they are burning bodies daily, yes they are sealing up entire buildings, and yes many more thousands have been infected and more have died from it despite the efforts to say its just the flu.. nothing to see here, Trudy has our backs as usual.
Don't take any unnecessary risks folks...
Good advice for sure.
