First rule of story writing: if your characters are all either wholly good or wholly bad, you haven’t done your job as a writer. I happen to agree with the point of this video, but when all the characters are cardboard cutouts meant to embody some abstract principle like some medieval allegory. Three-dimensional characters and real-world situations are difficult; otherwise everyone would do it and no one would think it special.

yes but this is really a parody of that stupid movie Dangerous Minds - Michelle Pfieffer plays the pretty but tough as nails ex marine savior of inner city kids white teacher.
It's a movie genre that today we would say is about "woke" White teachers saving the black kids ...it's really poking fun at the genre as much as it is about todays idiotic suggestions about intrinsic racism of basic mathematics. It's supposed to be funny - I laughed - whilst making that point.

@iThink
That’s why I hated that movie

@Edgework me too! and the other half dozen or so movies that were just like it..white woke teacher or white woke football coach or white woke principal...also I think I am the only person in the world who hates the Rocky movies...there was a movie some decades ago (I believe it was made for TV) called "The Great White Hope" - good movie because it told a truth nobody wanted to hear about intrinsic and implicit racism.
I find movies like "Criminal Minds" and "The Principal" etc sickening really and that's why I love this parody so much. It shows the absurdity of the ideas that inform those movies.

@iThink
You know what I think it is? SNL had this problem (back when I bothered to watch it) of doing commercial parodies, which always felt forced and obvious—most commercials are already parodies of real life. There’s not much further you can take it.

@Edgework fair enough
