Paradigm shifts are very hard. I no longer believe in the standard model cosmology, it seems to me they look through the long end of the telescope and describe what they imagine they see. Thank you Electric Universe, The Thunderbolts Project and Wal Thornhill, David Talbot, the Saffire Project. This seems to simplify what was a theory that just kept adding fudge factors to everything (dark matter, dark energy, etc) rather than actually looking at and re-evaluting their theories.
