Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.When a neighboring state is constantly attacking you, you are not going to think about a "proportionate" response; you are going to do what it takes to stop the attacks, which would usually mean a disproportionate response. Demanding a "proportionate" response of Israel, a response which essentially leaves their terrorist enemies with continued capacity to attack them at will, is entirely unreasonable.

Good point, especially when you are vastly outnumbered, and that you seriously lack depth for defense.
