Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.They wanted to find out where these people were either to get interviews or to publicize there names. In either case what they did was completely unethical and unacceptable, and, if they had succeeded in either case during the trial, then it would probably be illegal. Hence the nervousness about answering the police officer's questions.

The motive was apparently intimidation. You can just imagine if they were doxed.
