Apparently, nearly 40% of the EU's gas supply comes from Russia and 65% of Germany's gas supply comes from Russia while in the UK's case, it's only 5%. Phew.
And meanwhile the Western World is cutting production in order to save the planet, which is driving up the price, go figure.
You produce your own, as I understand it.
About half of UK gas supplies are of domestic origin, from the North Sea. Tensions on the Russia-Ukraine border will not push up UK gas prices directly.
@Naomi our LNG has gone up to ₱1,045 for an 11k tank. Gasoline is now around ₱70 per liter. Never been as high as this.
@eschatologyguy I think it is a worldwide problem though some countries may have been hit harder than others.
@Naomi would be nice to have a small farm in the country with a river running through it. Hydro-electricity would be a great thing to have.
