Their ignorance of what socialism did to a once prosperous country is outstanding. The economy is in ruins, millions of people have left, including their oil workers, everything is stripped, and they have a 8,000% increase in refugee status from what was once one of the most prosperous countries in the world.

@Weltansicht True, but animosity towards the US isn't suddenly going to disappear. The money these countries earn should they help US will only be used against the US at a later date.
@toronto_Georgia yep. just like the US foreign aid given to our enemies for decades; and back in the 1970s & 80s instead of paying farmers NOT to grow crops ( the PIK program) should have just bought all they could at market prices and gave that away to the starving peoples of hostile regimes and then they would have become loyal friends for helping them all
