California is dominated by an oligarchy of the enomously wealthy and the politicians who service them. Pelosi is at the apex of this oligarchy. She survives because she can funnel the money of Hollywood and Tech Moguls to the Democrat Party. Fitzgerald said, "The rich aren't like you and me."
