Modern corporations like the Marxist message because the too are collectives. When a corporation becomes too large it devours its competitors and tyrannizes its consumers. This is the perversion of free enterprise that Marx called "Capitalism." The only difference between it and Marx's vision of a communist dystopia is that the power is not in communist dictatorial hands in capitalism. I agree with Ronald Wilson Reagan that the greatest economic model that brings the most wealth to the most people is free enterprise. But sans checks and balances such as is built into the United States Constitution to keep government in check, the tendency in free enterprise is to devolve into Marx's capitalism.
