The best soluton I have heard is not groveling but dialogue and a serious one. Whites explain what they want and what bothers them about Blacks and vice versa. At the end I think the solution is separation or freedom of association. Not forced integration.

So there are racially superior people who are white and think that only they can solve the black person's problems by acting out a ridiculous humbling of themselves before them. Not only do they think themselves superior, what they are doing is acting against their own supposed cause. How does walking on eggs around people help them in any way.

Putting on some dramatic public show is just an excuse for not doing anything helpful.

To sustain the momentum of these protests, DiAngelo says, it must become uncomfortable for white people to continue to benefit from racist systems.

"We've got to start making it uncomfortable and figuring out what supports we're going to put in place to help us continue to be uncomfortable," she says. "Because the forces of comfort are quite seductive."
