Like many others out there... after ten years of fac book, they completely banned me with really no reason other than thinking outside of the box.. just like that they banned me without even pointing out exactly what I said. I was always careful about how I said things to not hurt no ones feelers ... didn't matter.. I was too smart for them.. ten years of all my friends and family's memories gone... found this site from a video on youtube suggesting this site.. hope to stick around

I’m also a refugee from big social media. I lost two Twitter accounts for supporting Tommy Robinson (and also, I don’t think they cared for me posting links to Louder With Crowder 
). It was the best thing that could have happened. IDW/Slug members are far more positive and open minded than the brigading twitter crowd! Of course, there are a few itinerate trolls, but nothing on the scale of Facebook/Twitter/YouTube.

Exactly! So far this site seems a lot more relaxed and they let people speak. Hopefully the trolls stay on their own side of the fb and twatter areas... most of the trolls were never even around before they had their phones... I started on Aol chat in the 90s hahaaa old school
