A woman with an ugly husband will try to escape. If she doesn't, it's because she really loves her husband. Then her husband isn't that bad. 
I don't know why I feel this way, but I hope their tradition and culture will continue, and if it were to change, that will be from within and not because of the imposition of Western values.
