We are now living in a World like "invasion of the Body Snatchers," in which everyone around us looks like the same person, but they have been taken over. Not by actual aliens, but by group-think.

The concept that each of us has a boundary which is inviolate, is no longer common knowledge nor belief. No matter what we say, it is vulnerable to interpretation in whatever way brings us to compliance.

I defended myself yesterday to my brother and he claimed my defense was attacking him. In that World, we all eventually become group-thinkers. And my brother - once fiercely anti-authoritarian, turns out to be a weak thinker who is now THE authoritarian.

You can lead a person to truth, but you can't make them think.

My wife and older brother used to be sold out to climate change wokeness. I just gently but steadily showed them how that is not true. Now they are both on my side of the fence. It takes lots of patience.
