We are now living in a World like "invasion of the Body Snatchers," in which everyone around us looks like the same person, but they have been taken over. Not by actual aliens, but by group-think.
The concept that each of us has a boundary which is inviolate, is no longer common knowledge nor belief. No matter what we say, it is vulnerable to interpretation in whatever way brings us to compliance.
I defended myself yesterday to my brother and he claimed my defense was attacking him. In that World, we all eventually become group-thinkers. And my brother - once fiercely anti-authoritarian, turns out to be a weak thinker who is now THE authoritarian.
You can lead a person to truth, but you can't make them think.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.My wife and older brother used to be sold out to climate change wokeness. I just gently but steadily showed them how that is not true. Now they are both on my side of the fence. It takes lots of patience.
