Not at all. I make sound arguments. I just tend not to see much of a point to saying things, unless I'm disagreeing with the group I'm talking to...so everybody assumes I'm their polar opposite in ever conceivable way.

And that's how people, all too often unfortunately, treat whatever they view the other side as. Nuance is seldom paid attention to as often as it would ideally be. Everybody focuses on the most crack-pot nutjub-ish persons from the other side, rather than delving into specific issues that warrant solving and whatnot...and then they label all members of the other side as those crackpots.

There are intelligent feminist arguments, SJW arguments, anti-SJW arguments, MRA arguments, and generally clever arguments within any group that exists...with the possible exception of Nazism and anything else that urges ethnic-cleansing-style murders. Nobody do that.

@DaveO276 Not even that. I just state my opinions and everybody hates me. I might be described as not particularly tactful though. I'm not a troll...and I'm not just trying to argue for the sake of being difficult. I think it's just that tact is almost never part of my goal.

One time, for example, a big animal lover threatened to feed me to a panther. This is because she started talking about how she hopes humans go extinct and animals are better than humans in every way...and I started getting the itch...and the itch led me to explain my view that, just perhaps, someday, when we've become a post-scarcity civilization that can survive without Earth, our descendants should kill all nonhuman life, except for our pets, for its own benefit.

I had, in my view, a pretty well-thought out argument about how humans can exponentially improve themselves and other animals are perpetually trapped in a kind of Darwinian gladiatorial arena, and they don't even have the intelligence to contemplate whether they should keep bringing new life into that arena, through procreation...whereas humans do, in addition to understanding ethics and being able to perpetually improve ourselves through technology and social changes.

She just kind of stuck with the "I'd like to feed you to a panther," sort of discourse. She was a pretty bright person. I just happened to find that little wound to dig the dagger into and twist.
