We are not China. We are not a communist authoritarian state. Yet. If the radical Democrat socialists get their way, we may.
Our Constitution is strong enough to prevent such a thing, but also the people must be vigilant as well to prevent such a system from being implemented in our government.
If it remains a private sector thing, that can be combated through market forces.
Patreon decided they liked being Woke more then they liked remaining a solvent business and so SubscribeStar is rising up because they won't subscribe to a social credit system.
Chase bank is shutting down the bank accounts of conservatives; new up and coming alternatives will arise that would rather do business than peddle fashionable politics.

So long as we allow competition to flourish. The cynic in me has witnessed the whittling away of rights with respect to gun ownership and that leads me to believe its just a matter of time before speech is equally painted into a corner of legality or function via censorship and expulsion from popular platforms. Sure you can have your free speech on a platform literally no one knows about because it has been hemmed in on all sides virtually.
