Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.ANZAC day sounds like a combination of two of our holidays in the U.S. -- Memorial Day and Veterans Day. On Memorial Day we honor all military who have died in service to our country. On Veterans Day we honor all our veterans and those currently serving in the military. Our celebration of these holidays seems to have had the same ups and downs as has ANZAC Day in Australia.
