The only problem is the current divisive stand-off we are seeing in government would still continue - not really resolving anything. One of my favorite quotes is by the author Steven R. Covey, that says, "First seek to understand, then seek to be understood."
This is what we need today. Not individuals who compromise their principles, but willing to sit down with individuals they disagree with. Even if minds are not changed, dialog will be opened, respect will increase. It should be OK to disagree agreeably.

I see your point, and we can agree on that. But my point is that if a partisan non establishment group can have their candidates, we need some real libertarians and conservatives to oppose them. Establishment Republicans are almost indistinguishable from establishment Democrats at this point
As much as I am thoroughly disgusted with the thought, unless there are some laws or rules made to prevent it, this might be the “Wave of the Future”.

No. The Republicans pretty much suck. We need a viable 3rd party candidate.

The Old Democratic party is being eaten up by the new wave. This can easily happen to the establishment Republicans. They are spineless jellyfish who would cave to real conservatives
