Okay... more than one celebrity has stated that seeing a MAGA hat "triggers" them exactly the same way that seeing a KKK hood would. And apparently being "triggered" is an excuse for bad behavior... ranging from slander to violence.

So... the fact that they are "triggered" by a slogan of the opposing political party means that we should humor their mental problem by self-suppressing and ceding our 1st Amendment rights?

Since so many seem to be "triggered" by precisely the same things, in a manner not unlike that of a post-hypnotic suggestion… Are they the victims of mass psychosis… er, I mean hypnosis?

I will count backwards to 10 and when I am done you will awaken and become a Free Range Feral Sustainable Chicken.

When I snap my fingers you will awaken “woke” and thereafter use that self-same word with questionable grammar.

When I snap my fingers you will awaken thinking that dowdy pantsuits are the height of elegance. You will consider joining a group like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pantsuit without snickering.

When I snap my fingers you will see certain common things such as milk or peanut butter and jelly as racist. You will spend your time scouring your personal environs for things to be offended by. Celestial events are not out of bounds.

When I snap my fingers you will believe that dressing up as a giant glittery vagina makes a powerful political statement.

When I snap my fingers you will find nothing incongruous about the claim that speech is violence. When I snap my fingers you will not question how a group using fascist tactics can call themselves anti-fascist. When I snap my fingers you will forget that Antifa really stands for anti-anti-fascist. (It’s a non-non heinous thing.)

When I snap my fingers you will listen raptly to the words of Alexandria Occasionally Cortez. Nothing will seem amiss. You will believe that it is better to be morally right than factually accurate. You will also believe that facts are racist.

When I snap my fingers you will no longer recoil from the visage of Nancy Pelosi, you will see her merely as brilliant and not incredibly freakin' creepy at all. At the sight of the color orange and the letters M-A-G-A you will completely and extemporaneously lose your shit.

So... what if people on the right develop their own collective psychosis and become "triggered" by liberal slogans? Or perhaps the "triggering" of liberals will serve to "trigger" conservatives.

Apparently when a triggered person is triggered they lose any vestige of self-control... and (legal) responsibility for their actions.
Here is but another example of the abdication of personal responsibility that seems to be so in vogue on the Left.

Any ways, I hope this doesn't "trigger" anyone such that they cannot control their speech, tweets, or actions.
Hell, let's just remove all possible things that might trigger people. I'm voting for broccoli.
