What has kept me from switching to a Linux system in the past is the concern over compatibility with current programs I consistently rely on, such as e-Sword, BibleWorks, and Logos Bible Software. Does anyone have any ideas about compatibility with such programs?
If those can fit in your phone... I guess there would be a need to have a 2nd desktop to experiment with Linux on. The good thing with Linux is that it is lean as well as robust. It doesn't need the same level of power as Windows does. You can use an old desktop to run Linux. It takes some getting used to.
@eschatologyguy Sounds like good advice.
