Where is the line between acceptable and unacceptable speech on IDW?

Saw a video on a post that seemed really far right to me. Remember, I'm an Independent who stands in opposition to the drifting left. But, I'm probably not going to fit very well with the far right either. I'm not talking about normal religious types or anything like that. The KKK is too far out there for me. I'm not going to run from one divisive group to another divisive group. So, how has the site and its members dealt with extremism? What is extremism? Judging content is so problematic, but is there content before you get to yelling fire or encouraging violence that is also unacceptable? Is the intellectual dark web accepting of all speech?

I'm curious what members think about this. Thoughts on where the line is? I admit I'm a bit uncomfortable.

Mostly reasonable points. Some people wanted to pull this into some kind of weirdness based on their own assumptions they got somewhere between the lines. That's not really helpful, but internet.

So to summarize, most people advocated for unbridled free speech, damn the consequences. I don't think it's close, though we oddly didn't seem to get much input from the religious folks. I agree with very little censorship in principle, but it's more complicated than that. The site owners are in a tough spot on this, because this decision comes with consequences that could ultimately hurt the site--interestingly. I seemed to have a hard time articulating that argument in a way that resonated with people.

There's a difference between a thumbs up or thumbs down vote on free speech and developing actual policies for a community that work for the most people. And, I was actually trying to have that part of the discussion. As people flock to this site and variability increases, it's going to be interesting to watch. Because there are literally people who love a shitshow, and there are people who demand decorum. Throw actual racism and identity politics into the same pit, and kaboom! Could be epic.

Other than comments that incite or encourage violence against someone, speech on this platform should be unfettered. Whatever someone's position on a topic, he / she must be prepared to defend the position. That is how product discussions occur.
