I seriously doubt that Putin's advisors will let him fall into that NATO Article V trap. The foreign aircraft will be targeted over Ukraine, Belorus or Russia to avoid triggering the snare that they represent. And NATO cannot hid behind Low Probability of Intercept technology to avoid being shot down, Russia perfected the trick to targeting stealth aircraft. Just like when hunting Ohio class boomers in the coastal waters of Russia, they looked for the holes in the ocean that were not echoing sounds, when seeking stealth aircraft they look for the places that don't have the expected echoes that American radar filters out.
