Had a great Ishtar.
Ate an eighth of some fine Psilocybin Mushrooms last night.
Had a chat with God.
He doesn't like His Son's resurrection being celebrated on a Pirated Pagan holiday.
Actually I just read some commentary that says that Easter did not come from the Babylonian Ishtar but from a Germanic word, don't remember the whole thing and it would take more digging than i am willing to do. In fairness, though I believe we should be celebrating Pesach as the Bible instructs, the Catholic Church tried its best to keep the date of the resurrection and I don't believe the Church's celebration is really about bunnies and eggs, although they do put a boiled egg on the Passover plate.
I think I personally would be highly suspicious of any word from God that I received when doing any kind of hallucinogenic. but by all means enjoy your buzz'

He did say not to worship him the way the pagans do. Right there in the manual.
Man Senor Queso, you change avatars like the far left cycles through gender identities. God help me if you start associating pronouns...
@Guido_Provolone, welcome back.
Its not actually. But your mind is made up. Enjoy the day.
Eostre was the name for the Saxon fertility goddess. Her symbols were eggs and bunnies. When Irish Christian missionaries re-evangelized England they allowed the name and symbols to synctritize into passover observances. The name "easter" was useful to some church officials in distinguishing ressurection observances from Jewish Passover. It was a time of increasing hostility to Jewish aspects of the Christian faith.
Calling the Christian celebration of the Resurrection "Easter" only occurs in English, German, and (because of word borrowing) Japanese. In general, all other languages use a variant of the Greek "Pascha" meaning Passover. For example, in Portuguese, the holiday is "Pasqua".
always look on the bright side of life. i look through the story of others finding the body gone from the tomb, to how the lord saviors presence has been known in my life for so long.
