The firearms industry abandons blue states to avoid crushing regulations
Remington, Dark Star, Smith & Wesson, and Troy Industries join other firearms companies leaving blue states including Kimber Manufacturing, which left New York for Alabama; Winchester Centerfire, which left Illinois for Mississippi; Stag Arms, which left Connecticut for Wyoming; and Magpul Industries, which left Colorado for Wyoming and Texas.
These blue bastions of "liberal morality" claim they produce the most wealth in America. But if this trend continues and expands to other industries being oppressed by their policies, they won't even equal the per capita income of West Virginia while having the highest rate of taxation and the highest cost of living in America. The only thing they will produce is misery.
I am always thrilled to see what unfolds when we have greater freedoms, in this case, guns. Let us all put our money where our mouths have been lately, run the experiment and see which idea is the best idea, measured by where people would rather live: a blue state or a red state?
