The Nigerian government has officially banned diversity in advertising, allowing only native Nigerians to appear on television commercials and in promotional materials.
There is a difference between "diversity" and nationalism. Calling this a diversity issue smacks of political correctness. I call that bullsh*t.
More to the point, every nation has the right to defend its sovereignty, and to their own definition of the rights of their citizens. Nigeria is not the US, and disposed of their constitution modeled after the US Constitution long ago. No one in the US has any business judging Nigeria.
Some in the US don't agree that the US should defend its sovereignty either, and I wish they would go where they are happier.
