The media was successful in portraying Watergate as a Republican plot, by completely ignoring why one rogue named John Dean independently* planned the break-in: To discover what dirty tricks the Democrats were planning in the next election at their Watergate campaign headquarters.

Dean planned the break-in because there were no good explanations why Republicans which clearly had large leads were suffering borderline elections...a bit like what is happening in 2023. Watergate was 1972. So Democrats have been mucking around with elections for at least 50 years. It seems so obvious to some Democrat strategists, that they openly admit that it has been going on much longer than that.

*See Liddy v Dean. It is a matter of court record that John Dean planned and executed the break-in without approval from the White House, which was then forced by the discovery of the break-in to plan some kind of damage control. The media used the discovery of damage control efforts, in the form of the Nixon Tapes, to convict Nixon in the public with the appearance of being guilty.

Larry Elder has already come out with support. I hope many more do the same.

Democrats have turned against the First Amendment big-time.
